Every year when April 1st rolls around, I get the itch to have some fun – and over the years, it’s become one of my favorite traditions to come up with a silly April Fools’ surprise to share with you all. Whether you’ve been following along since the beginning or are just jumping in, I thought it would be fun to take a little trip down memory lane…

There was the year I introduced the Laurie Berkner Cake and suddenly became a very serious baker. Another year, I shared that I was launching a brand-new career… as a stand-up comedian with my comedy tour “Potty Mouth.”

I don’t know if anyone remembers, my toddler cologne, called Eau De Susannah.

I launched a line of curly-haired toddler wigs! And when I released my album of adults-only covers of my songs, “Happy Hour.”

My foray as DJ Vito Burrito, I even did a full live set of my dance remixes! I once announced a new line of Victor Vito-themed hot sauces for kids.

Then came the ultra-official-looking photo of the Laurie Berkner Band on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

So… what’s the big joke this year?

I’m THRILLED to announce that I’ve been cast as Ms. Frizzle in the new live-action Magic School Bus movie! 🚌

(Okay okay… April Fools!!)
