We See You. We Support You. 🏳️‍⚧️

Today, on Trans Day of Visibility, I want to say this loud and clear:
We see you. We support you. We love you for exactly who you are.

Right now, especially, it’s more important than ever to show up for our trans and non-binary community members – especially when their identities are being ignored or dismissed by those in power. Every child, teen, and adult deserves to be seen, affirmed, and celebrated for who they are.

If you or someone in your family is in need of support or resources, there are organizations doing incredible work to uplift trans and non-binary youth and their families:

🌈 Your Local LGBTQ+ Community Center
Many LGBTQ+ centers offer services specifically for families of trans and non-binary youth. If they don’t, they can often help connect you to the right resources in your area. You can find a directory of centers by searching for CenterLink’s LGBTQ Community Center Directory.

🏳️‍⚧️ TransFamily Support Services
This group offers compassionate guidance through the gender transition process. They provide free coaching for families, support navigating healthcare and insurance, help with legal steps, and advocacy in schools – all with love and care.

💙 Stand with Trans
From virtual support groups for kids and young adults, to dedicated groups for parents, to a LifeLine Library and therapy assistance – Stand with Trans is a beautiful community space built on empowerment and support.

Please know that there is help. There is hope. There are people who care deeply and are ready to walk alongside you on your journey.

To all the trans and non-binary kids and grown-ups reading this:
You are loved. You matter. You are a bright and beautiful light in this world.
