In the second of three songs in this collaboration with Nursery Rhymes for Kinder Times, four colorful toy ducks are afloat in a bathtub. When one of the ducks takes a spill and lands on the bathroom floor, it needs to be rescued! Nursery Rhymes for Kinder Times is a collection of updated nursery rhymes that nurture kindness, empathy, and gratitude. In this take on the classic “Rub a Dub Dub,” the focus is on kindness, accompanied by a happy quacking chorus.

Says Laurie: I love how this updated version of the nursery rhyme gives families a song to sing at bathtime while modeling kindness and friendship. It was also really fun to turn the feeling of 6/8 that comes from the rhyme itself, into a song where horns emulate the sounds of the ducks and the ending of the song swirls around melodically like water in a bathtub.
